One of the advantages - cheap and delightful rooms; they included a hairdryer, a walk-in shower and bath sheets. They had an efficient check-in. I liked that the hotel was 26 minutes drive from the airport.

Decent breakfast with generous portions. Situated conveniently for access to local attractions and has ample parking space available.
Noise levels were frustrating throughout the night with bar patrons causing disturbances directly outside the rooms. Windows left a lot to be desired, not closing properly and leading to constant road noise. The mattress felt well past its prime, uncomfortable during the night. The bathroom infrastructure could use some attention. The shower and toilet had their own quirks. While it has a few redeeming features, it left me wishing for a more peaceful and comfortable experience.

Nice little hotel with two great restaurants attached. One bar-style, family friends and one a la carte. Great stop over for business trips and will come back if in the area.
Room faces car park, so a little unsecure.

We decided at short notice to visit the area and after an easy booking process, settled on The Littleover Lodge Hotel. It turned out to be an excellent choice. Checking in took only a few minutes and we were shown personally to our room by the receptionist with the offer of assistance if we had any problems or questions. We were advised to book a table in the Carvery that evening if we wished to eat there as there was a special offer on meals for the evening. We did book and were treated to a superb carvery with excellent and speedy service. Breakfast was superb (we had full English) served once again by friendly and cheerful staff. We will be returning.

great value but could improve on noise insulation
The modern ensuite shower exceeded my expectations for a basic accommodation. The staff's friendliness was notable.
Noise from the main road could be an issue for light sleepers.

Great value for money Excellent situation for me as close to motorway connections--very easy access to them. Was in Derby to meet friends and have lunch with ex-colleagues which was booked at the hotel. All staff very pleasant. Room excellent.

Friendly staff, particularly Jenny who after booking us in, showed us to our room. The room was comfortable and clean but a little dated. Lovely power shower. The buffet breakfast was plentiful. Ample free parking was a bonus. Would definitely recommend
